Olympos (Greek: ο Όλυμπος) (Olympou Local Community - OLYMPOU Municipal Section), belongs to KARPATHOU Municipality, KARPATHOU Regional Unity located in South Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “o Olympos”. The seat of the municipality is Karpathos and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Olympos belonged to Olympou Local District, the former community of OLYMPOU the prefecture of DODEKANISOU.
