Ermitsi (Greek: το Ερμήτσι) (Ermitsiou Local Community - ARNIS Municipal Section), belongs to SOFADON Municipality, KARDITSAS Regional Unity located in Thessalia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Ermitsion”. The seat of the municipality is Sofades and belongs to the geographical region of Thessalia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Ermitsi belonged to Ermitsiou Local District, the former municipality of ARNIS the prefecture of KARDITSIS.
