Aigies (Greek: οι Αιγιές) (Aigion Local Community - GYTHEIOU Municipal Section), belongs to ANATOLIKIS MANIS Municipality, LAKONIAS Regional Unity located in Peloponnisos region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ai Aigiai”. The seat of the municipality is Gytheio and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Aigies belonged to Aigion Local District, the former municipality of GYTHEIOU the prefecture of LAKONIAS.
