Alonia (Greek: τα Αλώνια) (Ano Gerakariou Local Community - ALYKON Municipal Section), belongs to ZAKYNTHOU Municipality, ZAKYNTHOU Regional Unity located in Ionian Islands region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Alonia”. The seat of the municipality is Zakynthos and belongs to the geographical region of Ionian Islands.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Alonia belonged to Ano Gerakariou Local District, the former municipality of ALYKON the prefecture of ZAKYNTHOU.
