Avramio (Greek: το Αβραμιό) (Avramiou Local Community - MESSINIS Municipal Section), belongs to MESSINIS Municipality, MESSINIAS Regional Unity located in Peloponnisos region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Avramion”. The seat of the municipality is Messini and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Avramio belonged to Avramiou Local District, the former municipality of MESSINIS the prefecture of MESSINIAS.
