Glyfada (Greek: η Γλυφάδα) (Glyfadas Local Community - AIGEIROU Municipal Section), belongs to KOMOTINIS Municipality, RODOPIS Regional Unity located in Eastern Macedonia - Thrace region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Glyfada”. The seat of the municipality is Komotini and belongs to the geographical region of Thrace.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Glyfada belonged to Glyfada (the former community of Mesis) Local District, the former municipality of AIGEIROU the prefecture of RODOPIS.
