Maritsa (Greek: τα Μαριτσά) (Maritson Municipal Community - PETALOUDON Municipal Section), belongs to RODOU Municipality, RODOU Regional Unity located in South Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Maritsa”. The seat of the municipality is Rodos and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Maritsa belonged to Maritson Local District, the former municipality of PETALOUDON the prefecture of DODEKANISOU.
