Marmara (Greek: τα Μάρμαρα) (Neochoriou Mesolongiou Municipal Community - OINIADON Municipal Section), belongs to IERAS POLIS MESOLONGIOU Municipality, AITOLOAKARNANIAS Regional Unity located in Western Greece region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Marmara”. The seat of the municipality is Mesolongi and belongs to the geographical region of Central Greece.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Marmara belonged to Neochoriou Mesolongiou Local District, the former municipality of OINIADON the prefecture of AITOLIAS KAI AKARNANIAS.
