Melissia (Greek: τα Μελίσσια) (Melission Local Community - AIGIOU Municipal Section), belongs to AIGIALEIAS Municipality, ACHAÏAS Regional Unity located in Western Greece region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Melissia”. The seat of the municipality is Aigio and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Melissia belonged to Melission Local District, the former municipality of AIGIOU the prefecture of ACHAÏAS.
