Mesogeio (Greek: το Μεσόγειο) (Mesogeiou Local Community - PYTHAGOREIOU Municipal Section), belongs to SAMOU Municipality, SAMOU Regional Unity located in North Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Mesogeion”. The seat of the municipality is Samos and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Mesogeio belonged to Mesogeiou Local District, the former municipality of PYTHAGOREIOU the prefecture of SAMOU.
