Petroto (Greek: το Πετρωτό) (Petrotou Local Community - DOMOKOU Municipal Section), belongs to DOMOKOU Municipality, FTHIOTIDAS Regional Unity located in Sterea Ellada region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Petroton”. The seat of the municipality is Domokos and belongs to the geographical region of Central Greece.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Petroto belonged to Petrotou Local District, the former municipality of DOMOKOU the prefecture of FTHIOTIDOS.
