Polichni (Greek: η Πολίχνη) (Polichnis Municipal Community - POLICHNIS Municipal Section), belongs to PAVLOU MELA Municipality, THESSALONIKIS Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Polichni”. The seat of the municipality is Stavroupoli and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Polichni belonged to Polichnis Local District, the former municipality of POLICHNIS the prefecture of THESSALONIKIS.
