Pterounta (Greek: η Πτερούντα) (Pterountos Local Community - ERESOU-ANTISSIS Municipal Section), belongs to LESVOU Municipality, LESVOU Regional Unity located in North Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Pterounta”. The seat of the municipality is Mytilini and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.
