Pyrgotos (Greek: ο Πυργωτός) (Chrysopetras Local Community - GALLIKOU Municipal Section), belongs to KILKIS Municipality, KILKIS Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “o Pyrgotos”. The seat of the municipality is Kilkis and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Pyrgotos belonged to Chrysopetras Local District, the former municipality of GALLIKOU the prefecture of KILKIS.
