Tripotamos (Greek: ο Τριπόταμος) (Tripotamou Local Community - MELITIS Municipal Section), belongs to FLORINAS Municipality, FLORINAS Regional Unity located in Western Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “o Tripotamos”. The seat of the municipality is Florina and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Tripotamos belonged to Tripotamou Local District, the former municipality of MELITIS the prefecture of FLORINIS.
