Katapola (Greek: τα Κατάπολα) (Katapolon (Amorgou) Local Community), belongs to AMORGOU Municipality, NAXOU Regional Unity located in South Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Katapola”. The seat of the municipality is Amorgos and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Katapola belonged to Katapolon (Amorgou) Local District, the former municipality of AMORGOU the prefecture of KYKLADON.
