Stamata (Greek: η Σταμάτα) (Stamatas Municipal Community - STAMATAS Municipal Section), belongs to DIONYSOU Municipality, ANATOLIKIS ATTIKIS Regional Unity located in Attiki region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Stamata”. The seat of the municipality is Agios Stefanos and belongs to the geographical region of Central Greece.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Stamata belonged to Stamatas Local District, the former community of STAMATAS the prefecture of ATTIKIS.
