Kefalochori (Greek: το Κεφαλοχώρι) (Kefalochoriou Local Community - FILIATON Municipal Section), belongs to FILIATON Municipality, THESPROTIAS Regional Unity located in Epirus region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Kefalochorion”. The seat of the municipality is Filiates and belongs to the geographical region of Epirus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Kefalochori belonged to Kefalochoriou Local District, the former municipality of FILIATON the prefecture of THESPROTIAS.
