Palailoni (Greek: το Παλαιλώνι) (Kefala Local Community - VAMOU Municipal Section), belongs to APOKORONOU Municipality, CHANION Regional Unity located in Crete region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Palailonion”. The seat of the municipality is Vryses and belongs to the geographical region of Crete.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Palailoni belonged to Kefala Local District, the former municipality of VAMOU the prefecture of CHANION.
