Xirolia (Greek: η Ξηρολιά) (Agiou Myronos Local Community - GORGOLAÏNI Municipal Section) belongs to IRAKLEIOU Municipality, IRAKLEIOU Regional Unity located in Crete region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Xirolia”. The seat of the municipality is Irakleio and belongs to the geographical region of Crete.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Xirolia belonged to Agiou Myronos Local District, the former municipality of GORGOLAÏNI the prefecture of IRAKLEIOU.
