Apollonia (Greek: η Απολλωνία) (Apollonias Local Community - MADYTOU Municipal Section), belongs to VOLVIS Municipality, THESSALONIKIS Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Apollonia”. The seat of the municipality is Stavros and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Apollonia belonged to Apollonias Local District, the former municipality of MADYTOU the prefecture of THESSALONIKIS.
