Kalamonas (Greek: ο Καλαμώνας) (Kalamonos Local Community - KALAMPAKIOU Municipal Section), belongs to DOXATOU Municipality, DRAMAS Regional Unity located in Eastern Macedonia - Thrace region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “o Kalamon”. The seat of the municipality is Kalampaki and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Kalamonas belonged to Kalamonos Local District, the former municipality of KALAMPAKIOU the prefecture of DRAMAS.
