Afisio (Greek: το Αφισιό) (Afisiou Local Community - SPARTIATON Municipal Section), belongs to SPARTIS Municipality, LAKONIAS Regional Unity located in Peloponnisos region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Afision”. The seat of the municipality is Sparti and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Afisio belonged to Afisiou Local District, the former municipality of SPARTIS the prefecture of LAKONIAS.
