Afroxylia (Greek: η Αφροξυλιά) (Megalocharis Local Community - TETRAFYLIAS Municipal Section), belongs to GEORGIOU KARAÏSKAKI Municipality, ARTAS Regional Unity located in Epirus region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Afroxylia”. The seat of the municipality is Ano Kalentini and belongs to the geographical region of Epirus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Afroxylia belonged to Megalocharis Local District, the former municipality of TETRAFYLIAS the prefecture of ARTIS.
