Akropotamia (Greek: η Ακροποταμιά) (Akropotamias Local Community - ARACHTHOU Municipal Section), belongs to NIKOLAOU SKOUFA Municipality, ARTAS Regional Unity located in Epirus region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Akropotamia”. The seat of the municipality is Peta and belongs to the geographical region of Epirus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Akropotamia belonged to Akropotamias Local District, the former municipality of ARACHTHOU the prefecture of ARTIS.
