Ano Dorio (Greek: το Άνω Δώριο) (Ano Doriou Local Community - DORIOU Municipal Section), belongs to OICHALIAS Municipality, MESSINIAS Regional Unity located in Peloponnisos region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Ano Dorion”. The seat of the municipality is Meligalas and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Ano Dorio belonged to Ano Doriou Local District, the former municipality of DORIOU the prefecture of MESSINIAS.
