Ano Poróïa (Greek: τα Άνω Πορόια) (Ano Poroion Local Community - KERKINIS Municipal Section), belongs to SINTIKIS Municipality, SERRON Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Ano Poróïa”. The seat of the municipality is Sidirokastro and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Ano Poróïa belonged to Ano Poroion Local District, the former municipality of KERKINIS the prefecture of SERRON.
