Its official name is “to Eptachori”. The seat of the municipality is Nestorio and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Eptachori belonged to Eptachoriou Local District, the former community of ARRENON the prefecture of KASTORIAS.
