Eranos (Greek: ο Έρανος) (Kimmerion Municipal Community - XANTHIS Municipal Section), belongs to XANTHIS Municipality, XANTHIS Regional Unity located in Eastern Macedonia - Thrace region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “o Eranos”. The seat of the municipality is Xanthi and belongs to the geographical region of Thrace.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Eranos belonged to Kimmerion Local District, the former municipality of XANTHIS the prefecture of XANTHIS.
