Eresos (Greek: η Ερεσός) (Eresou Municipal Community - ERESOU-ANTISSIS Municipal Section), belongs to LESVOU Municipality, LESVOU Regional Unity located in North Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Eresos”. The seat of the municipality is Mytilini and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Eresos belonged to Eresou Local District, the former municipality of ERESOU-ANTISSIS the prefecture of LESVOU.
