Foinikia (Greek: η Φοινικιά) (Oias Local Community - OIAS Municipal Section), belongs to THIRAS Municipality, THIRAS Regional Unity located in South Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.
Its official name is “i Foinikia”. The seat of the municipality is Thira and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.
During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Foinikia belonged to Oias Local District, the former community of OIAS the prefecture of KYKLADON.
