Galanado (Greek: το Γαλανάδο) (Galanadou Local Community - NAXOU Municipal Section), belongs to NAXOU KAI MIKRON KYKLADON Municipality, NAXOU Regional Unity located in South Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Galanadon”. The seat of the municipality is Naxos and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Galanado belonged to Galanadou Local District, the former municipality of NAXOU the prefecture of KYKLADON.
