Galaniana (Greek: τα Γαλανιανά) (Antikythiron Municipal Community - ANTIKYTHIRON Municipal Section), belongs to KYTHIRON Municipality, NISON Regional Unity located in Attiki region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Galaniana”. The seat of the municipality is Kythira and belongs to the geographical region of Central Greece.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Galaniana belonged to Antikythiron Local District, the former community of ANTIKYTHIRON the prefecture of ATTIKIS.
