Goniko

Goniko (Greek: το Γονικό) (Mikrou Dereiou Municipal Community - ORFEA Municipal Section), belongs to SOUFLIOU Municipality, EVROU Regional Unity located in Eastern Macedonia - Thrace region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Gonikon”. The seat of the municipality is Soufli and belongs to the geographical region of Thrace.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Goniko belonged to Mikrou Dereiou Local District, the former municipality of ORFEA the prefecture of EVROU.
