Gouves (Greek: οι Γούβες) (Gouvon Local Community - ARTEMISIOU Municipal Section), belongs to ISTIAIAS - AIDIPSOU Municipality, EVVOIAS Regional Unity located in Sterea Ellada region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ai Gouvai”. The seat of the municipality is Istiaia and belongs to the geographical region of Central Greece.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Gouves belonged to Gouvon Local District, the former municipality of ARTEMISIOU the prefecture of EVVOIAS.
