Iampoli (Greek: η Ιάμπολη) (Kalchantos Local Community - KOMOTINIS Municipal Section), belongs to KOMOTINIS Municipality, RODOPIS Regional Unity located in Eastern Macedonia - Thrace region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Iampolis”. The seat of the municipality is Komotini and belongs to the geographical region of Thrace.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Iampoli belonged to Kalchantos Local District, the former municipality of KOMOTINIS the prefecture of RODOPIS.
