Kalochori (Greek: το Καλοχώρι) (Kastanoussis Local Community - KERKINIS Municipal Section), belongs to SINTIKIS Municipality, SERRON Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Kalochorion”. The seat of the municipality is Sidirokastro and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Kalochori belonged to Kastanoussis Local District, the former municipality of KERKINIS the prefecture of SERRON.
