Kalyvia (Greek: τα Καλύβια) (Kalyvion Local Community - ASTEROUSION Municipal Section) belongs to ARCHANON - ASTEROUSION Municipality, IRAKLEIOU Regional Unity located in Crete region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Kalyvia”. The seat of the municipality is Peza and belongs to the geographical region of Crete.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Kalyvia belonged to Kalyvion Local District, the former municipality of ASTEROUSION the prefecture of IRAKLEIOU.
