Karpino (Greek: το Κάρπινο) (Velentzikou Local Community - IRAKLEIAS Municipal Section), belongs to GEORGIOU KARAÏSKAKI Municipality, ARTAS Regional Unity located in Epirus region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Karpinon”. The seat of the municipality is Ano Kalentini and belongs to the geographical region of Epirus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Karpino belonged to Velentzikou Local District, the former municipality of IRAKLEIAS the prefecture of ARTIS.
