Kastania (Greek: η Καστανιά) (Kastaneas Local Community - STYMFALIAS Municipal Section), belongs to SIKYONION Municipality, KORINTHIAS Regional Unity located in Peloponnisos region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Kastanea”. The seat of the municipality is Kiato and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Kastania belonged to Kastaneas Local District, the former municipality of STYMFALIAS the prefecture of KORINTHIAS.
