Kerasea (Greek: η Κερασέα) (Keraseas Local Community - SOSTOU Municipal Section), belongs to IASMOU Municipality, RODOPIS Regional Unity located in Eastern Macedonia - Thrace region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Kerasea”. The seat of the municipality is Iasmos and belongs to the geographical region of Thrace.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Kerasea belonged to Kerasea (the former community of Sostou) Local District, the former municipality of SOSTOU the prefecture of RODOPIS.
