Kizario

Kizario (Greek: το Κιζάριο) (Kizariou Local Community - SAPON Municipal Section), belongs to MARONEIAS - SAPON Municipality, RODOPIS Regional Unity located in Eastern Macedonia - Thrace region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Kizarion”. The seat of the municipality is Sapes and belongs to the geographical region of Thrace.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Kizario belonged to Kizarion (the former community of Arrianon) Local District, the former municipality of SAPON the prefecture of RODOPIS.
