Kokkinogeia (Greek: τα Κοκκινόγεια) (Kokkinogeion Local Community - PROSOTSANIS Municipal Section), belongs to PROSOTSANIS Municipality, DRAMAS Regional Unity located in Eastern Macedonia - Thrace region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Kokkinogeia”. The seat of the municipality is Prosotsani and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Kokkinogeia belonged to Kokkinogeion Local District, the former municipality of PROSOTSANIS the prefecture of DRAMAS.
