Korisos (Greek: η Κορησός) (Korisou Local Community - AGION ANARGYRON Municipal Section), belongs to KASTORIAS Municipality, KASTORIAS Regional Unity located in Western Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Korisos”. The seat of the municipality is Kastoria and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Korisos belonged to Korisou Local District, the former municipality of AGION ANARGYRON the prefecture of KASTORIAS.
