Lyrkeia (Greek: η Λυρκεία) (Lyrkeias Local Community - LYRKEIAS Municipal Section), belongs to ARGOUS - MYKINON Municipality, ARGOLIDAS Regional Unity located in Peloponnisos region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Lyrkeia”. The seat of the municipality is Argos and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Lyrkeia belonged to Lyrkeias Local District, the former municipality of LYRKEIAS the prefecture of ARGOLIDOS.
