Marmara (Greek: τα Μάρμαρα) (Marmaron Local Community - SPERCHEIADOS Municipal Section), belongs to MAKRAKOMIS Municipality, FTHIOTIDAS Regional Unity located in Sterea Ellada region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Marmara”. The seat of the municipality is Spercheiada and belongs to the geographical region of Central Greece.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Marmara belonged to Marmaron Local District, the former municipality of SPERCHEIADOS the prefecture of FTHIOTIDOS.
