Mataragka (Greek: η Ματαράγκα) (Mataragkas Local Community - LARISOU Municipal Section), belongs to DYTIKIS ACHAÏAS Municipality, ACHAÏAS Regional Unity located in Western Greece region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Mataragka”. The seat of the municipality is Kato Achaia and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Mataragka belonged to Mataragkas Local District, the former municipality of LARISSOU the prefecture of ACHAÏAS.
