Mesopotamo (Greek: το Μεσοπόταμο) (Mesopotamou Local Community - FANARIOU Municipal Section), belongs to PARGAS Municipality, PREVEZAS Regional Unity located in Epirus region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Mesopotamon”. The seat of the municipality is Kanallaki and belongs to the geographical region of Epirus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Mesopotamo belonged to Mesopotamou Local District, the former municipality of FANARIOU the prefecture of PREVEZIS.
