Moroni
Moroni (Greek: το Μορόνι) (Moroniou Local Community - ZAROU Municipal Section) belongs to FAISTOU Municipality, IRAKLEIOU Regional Unity located in Crete region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.
Its official name is “to Moronion”. The seat of the municipality is Moires and belongs to the geographical region of Crete.
During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Moroni belonged to Moroniou Local District, the former municipality of ZAROU the prefecture of IRAKLEIOU.
