Its official name is “i Pagis”. The seat of the municipality is Chios and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.
During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Pagida belonged to Pagidos Local District, the former municipality of IONIAS the prefecture of CHIOU.
